If you bring your iPhone in for repair its likely that the phillips head screws will be replaced without your permission or knowledge. The pentalobe security screws are back, which means you can’t open your iPhone anymore (if you wanted to) because only Apple has that kind of screwdriver.

Apple’s viewpoint on ownership has become questionable as of late and is definately worth some serious scrutiny. From the collection and sale of personal data on their devices, to locking out Flash Player, to the return to this hardware violation- as wonderful as their products are: I am beginning reconsider my brand loyalty.
